so Uncle Dan has two new boa constictors for his class so his nieces and nephews loved playing with them. Especially Audrey who thinks they are SOOO CUTE.

Madison was a little scared of them, she came back over to the big girls quickly. We welcomed her company.

Nicholas and Logan loved them, lilly liked them but kept petting their heads which is a no no. Nicholas isn't scared of the snakey he is actually just sick of his sister

Skunker Pot

Thursday night we had the windows open to get a nice cool breeze to blow through. It was nice until a certain stench permenated the air. A skunker, very potent skunk smell assaulted my notirils. I immediatly thought, "Oh no, were are the girls." they were playing outside and came right in. Then my Dad's voice seemed to go Darth Vadar on me as he asked, "where is Chester"

I started calling him and darn it he wouldn't come. about 10 minutes later he came running out of the underbrush. wet, muddy and you betcha stinkier than I have ever smelled. Did you know when you drive by a dead skunk that is not actually true skunk smell that is actually the cheap walmart version.

Well it didn't take long for me to loose my dinner.

Recap of Richards First week

First thing Richard does after getting to Knoxville, TN is visit the ER. Very nice of the rental car company to upgrade his car to an SUV. However the door opens at just the right height to konk his noggin.

After he is stitched up with just a tad of a headache.
He went exploring and found FISHER St.

Then off to school he went. to enlighten his mind. or at least earn a few more credits.

He has decided to do a bit of jogging since his bike is stuck in storage here in yakima. His adventures have found beautiful lanes to jog

The whole family went to Malo for the weekend, with only 2 weeks until richard takes off for the summer we wanted to spend time together even though it was supposed to be "man time" fishing trip. On Saturday they got up early and Nicholas is very proud to say he Whooped the old man's butt. He can now call himself a "FiSHER". the catch was 6 to 4 and Nicholas also caught the biggest. Lol he even started talking smack dissing on Richard's fishing skills. I will have to add photos later, Richard has them somewhere, but not here. The girls and I took a walk to the little Malo store that has been there for over 100 years. it was established in 1903. Madison really wanted a hunny bun for breakfast. We also played a mean game of uno and got some good visiting time in with Grandma Sims. Today we are on our way to Seattle for Lilia's birthday party. It has been a month of traveling weekends.

O.K. I am dissapointed, the child's ultrasound indicates growth of about 9 weeks instead of 11 weeks. WHAT!!! I had a specific plan on how this could possibly work, and it is already getting smugged. This is it, due date is December 18, that means I could encourage the little fella to get outa there around December 4 or 5 right after finals, giving me 8 weeks to figure out the newborn yuckies. but NOOO Richard's spawn is already messing with me, January 1 is the due date, (no traveling for Christmas, man, that stinks) Baby will of coarse be late no matter how long I jump on the trampoline, so that means it will be stuck until January 14 or 15th giving me a two week window to figure out newborn yuckies before going back to clinicals. I know, I know he/she is just being independant.
