Nichole and Jessica, I am skinnier he he he

The Spicy Pickle

Dan and Jessica took me to the Norah Jones concert for greg's death day. We drove Dan's Jeep Ranger down into Portland to the Schnitz. The concert was beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend going. It was a magical night driving home through the Gorge under the stars and evergreens. Snuggled in a king size quilt.
I don't know how many of greg's family knows that my sibs call me nickle pickle. I don't know why.:-) But when we saw this restraunt called the Spicy pickle I had to jump out and take a pic.
While I was walking through Michaels the other day, trying to find a project to waste my time on, (I seemed to always be working late into the night on Christmas Eve to finish a project that would have been cheaper and easier if I had just bought it) I found a pickle ornament for the tree. So when you see your pickle in the mail you'll know why I have sent it.
love you all-
Nic

Nicholas's closet

WE drove home that night, as I passed the house I notice wood.
We had WALLS. time for a happy dance. Madison didn't want to come with us so I dragged Audrey and Nicholas to explore the progress. Nicholas is very proud of his closet and room. His room is bigger than the girls because he will have Greg's rolltop desk. It's ok that he thinks the only reason is he is so special.

How firm a foundation.

The truss where hung,

Ok here is a better view in the background you see the new osteopathic medical school. This view is from Warren Acres Rd. You can see nicholas's bedroom window. His window will be hidden by the front porch and turned into THE MAN clubhouse shortly.

Here comes the house

So here is the view from mom and dad's door, doesn't look like much from this angle but Phill (our cousin and law) and Dad are kicking the time line's bum and we are about to put plywood flooring on Yeah Haw.

Tired and smell of fermaldahyde

As I laid down next to Madison tonight she breathed in deeply and said you smell like costco hotdogs. . . paused a moment and said no maybe you just smell like costco food. I told her that was funny cuz I should smell like fermaldahyde. Unfortunatly she asked me what that was and I told her that it is what you keep dead things in so you can study them.

She was done snuggling at this point continued to tell me how much I stunk until I finally gave up on peaceful quite time and told her good night

It RAINED!

Yee haw. It actually rained here in Yakima and we went running through puddle's at top speeds today. Talk about hit the waves, they reached the top of our super cool mini-van. Nicholas has out grown his pants (thank the heavens for growth spurts!) had to go shopping for new pants. Ignoring the kids' pleas to just go home, I drove down our new "driveway" to check out our framed in walls, on our way up the driveway I managed to get the car up the first muddy hill to only to be bombarded by children's screams of fright. I gave up on the second little hill and made the kids walk the whole 50 yards to mom and dad's house. When dad got home it took him nothing to drive it on out the second hill. Embarassing. Jessica and Dan came up and surprised us, it would have been Georgie's 2nd birthday so we found some flowers that are just perfect. Don't forget as you are drudging through the day, Life is Good.
