Auntie N visit

I got to go by my very self after graduation
to visit my sister. WHAT A TREAT. I love
spending time with my Shista and miss the
time we used to have together, man you just
don't appreciate things until they are gone,
human nature I suppose. One of the best things
I did that weekend ws bring diet cokes
and donuts home, just like
Jessica used to for me and the kids. A coke for
me a donut for them....and with that
even in the rain, life was sun shiny.

--the down side of visiting, it just makes you want
more, relaxing, crafting, busy, crazy shista time.

Before the flu

Rebecca was starting to walk and talk before she and
audrey came down with the flu. This was one of the last "happy"
pictures of her. She didn't start trying to walk and talk again until
after thanksgiving. We are grateful there was no lasting effects.
REJOICE, life is good.

Where in the world are the Grillones? Inchelium, WA

I am missing my wonderful friend today...a bit jealous of my sister's trip to Colorado to visit her girlfriend. It seems like Rhonda and Marc decided to get move from Carson/Stevenson overnight and headed to the ranch. A dream they have always wanted to make happen (working the land and more time for family). Although we didn't get to see much of each other before the move, (we have both been pretty busy) but now it is even a greater distance. Happy new is we were able to find them after an odd GPS route and only a few stuck minutes in the snow thanks to the local Ivan and friends who stopped to help us push the silly van out of the snow.

My only regret was my 5 feet too many into the snow and crazy driving route cost us precious visiting time. Madison got to ride horses with the girls and catch up on all the things preteens must catch up on. Nicholas and Niki hung out while Niki entertained Audrey a bit. Nicholas also was able to spy on Chandler while he tried to put the moves on a local girl "Alaska" Nicholas spilled all the details on our way home. Rhonda and I visited, watched cable (who hoo it was a treat) cook a little food and walk a bit of the property.

What I love most about our friendship it has been way too long, but when we finally get together, it feels like it was just yesterday. Not a day goes by that I don't long for just an hour of "being" with my friends.
